Terms & Conditions – Rebecca Appleby 3-Day Surface & Decoration Course
1. Booking Your Place
A booking is confirmed once full payment has been received and a confirmation email has been issued by Rebecca Appleby.
By making a booking, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
All course places are subject to availability.
2. Course Fees
Course fees are payable in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed by Rebecca Appleby.
All prices shown on the website are in pounds sterling (£).
3. Cancellation by the Participant
Courses are limited to small groups, and late cancellations can be difficult to replace. The following cancellation terms therefore apply:
More than 8 weeks before the course start date
You may cancel your booking and receive a refund of all monies paid, less a £50 administration fee per booking.
Between 4 and 8 weeks before the course start date
You may cancel your booking and receive a refund of 50% of the course fee.
Less than 4 weeks before the course start date
No refund will be payable.
Refilled Places
If you cancel your place and it is possible to refill that place from a waiting list or a new booking, a refund of any retained course fees may be offered at Rebecca Appleby’s discretion, less the £50 administration fee.
4. Transfers to Another Course Date
If your plans change, please get in touch as soon as possible.
Subject to availability, Rebecca Appleby may allow you to transfer your booking to an alternative course date.
Transfers are not guaranteed and are offered at Rebecca Appleby’s discretion.
The following conditions apply:
- One transfer per booking is permitted.
- The new course date must take place within 12 months of the original course date.
- A transfer request made less than 4 weeks before the course start date will incur a £50 administration fee.
- Once transferred, the booking becomes non-refundable except where required by law.
5. Finding a Replacement Participant
If you are unable to attend, you may nominate another person to take your place, subject to prior agreement from Rebecca Appleby.
You must provide the replacement participant’s details before the course begins.
No administration fee will normally be charged for participant substitutions.
6. Cancellation or Changes by Rebecca Appleby
In the unlikely event that Rebecca Appleby needs to cancel a course, participants will be offered either:
- A full refund; or
- A transfer to an alternative course date.
Rebecca Appleby cannot accept responsibility for travel, accommodation, loss of earnings, or any other consequential costs incurred by participants.
Rebecca Appleby reserves the right to make reasonable changes to course content, schedules or facilities where necessary to ensure the best possible learning experience.
